I began teaching at Emerson Middle School in 2012. I have been with the district since 2006. I began working with Enid Public Schools as a teachers aide. Moved up to a Paraprofessional, and finally a TEACHER!! I currently teach Math and Reading to students who have difficulty in math and reading. Although most students find math and reading to be hard, I try to find as many fun ways to teach them as I can. The students usually enjoy the hands-on activities for both classes.
Before I came to Emerson Middle School, I was a Paraprofessional at Coolidge Elementary and before that Glenwood Elementary. I enjoy working with children and watching their faces light up when they discover they have given a right answer.
This is my family.
When I am not teaching, or working on lesson plans to teach, I love to read and sew.
